Browse our certified heavy-duty steel racks engineered to support payloads up to 1500KG and beyond per layer.
Established in 2016, Ningbo Shibang Storage Rack Co., Ltd. has developed into a premier force in the design, manufacture, and engineering of heavy-duty industrial storage racks. Over our 12 years of industry experience and 8 years of direct export footprint, we have customized high-load storage environments for automated distribution centers, retail mega-warehouses, 3PL logistics hubs, and heavy manufacturing plants worldwide.
Our state-of-the-art facility covers 32,000 m² of advanced production space, generating an annual export revenue of $18 million. We deploy an internal R&D team of 22 structural and mechanical engineers alongside a comprehensive quality division consisting of 35 dedicated QA/QC inspectors. Every component we fabricate undergoes stringent tests, including weld-seam Ultrasonic Testing (UT), finite element load stress analysis, powder-coat thickness verification, and raw metal tensile testing.
An in-depth analysis of load factors, structural configuration, compliance pathways, and localized application environments.
We source premium Q235B and Q355B structural steel. This guarantees optimal yield strength and elastic limits, allowing frames to resist buckling under high vertical loads.
Before production, our engineering team uses FEA modeling to simulate static loads, dynamic forklift impacts, and seismic reactions to ensure safety coefficients of 1.5 to 1.8.
Our automated electrostatic powder-coating lines apply highly durable protective barriers, resisting corrosion in humid, industrial, or temperature-controlled facilities.
Operating in markets like North America, Western Europe, Southeast Asia, and Australia means adhering to international safety standards. Safety regulations for heavy pallet racking systems are strict. In the United States, structural designs must comply with the ANSI/RMI MH16.1 specifications. In Europe, the EN 15512 and EN 15620 standards guide the design, tolerances, and maintenance of adjustable beam racking. Meanwhile, Australia relies on the AS 4084-2012 standard for steel storage racking.
Ningbo Shibang ensures compliance with these standards by performing regular tensile tests on raw materials and checking weld integrity. Our 35 QA/QC inspectors use Ultrasonic Testing (UT) to verify weld penetration on critical stress points, such as beam-to-connector joints. This limits the risk of failure under dynamic loads or seismic events.

Racking environments vary significantly by application and location. For example, cold storage facilities require steel that maintains structural integrity at sub-zero temperatures without becoming brittle. Our low-temperature powder coatings and high-grade steel alloys prevent cracking down to -30°C.
In coastal regions, salt corrosion poses a threat to metal structures. Our specialized thermosetting epoxy-polyester coatings protect steel surfaces in damp environments, extending the service life of our storage systems. Additionally, we integrate seismic-engineered baseplates and heavy-duty frame anchors to secure structures in active fault zones.

Integrating IoT, robotic automation, and sustainable manufacturing practices into high-load storage racking.
The growth of automated warehouse systems shifts demands from simple storage racks to high-precision structural components. Racks integrated with Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (AS/RS) require tighter structural tolerances. Deflections that are acceptable in manual setups can disrupt automated laser alignment guides and high-speed cranes.
Our latest 1500KG load structures are engineered for automation, using tighter manufacturing tolerances (+/- 0.5mm) and robust base connections. Over the past year, Ningbo Shibang launched 140 new products and optimized structural components designed to support these automated environments.
Looking ahead, we are exploring the integration of strain-gauge sensors directly into structural beams. These IoT sensors monitor actual stress levels and distribute load data to the warehouse management system (WMS). If a bay exceeds its rated load or sustains dynamic impact from a forklift, an alert notifies safety personnel, reducing the risk of structural failure.
Furthermore, our environmental initiatives focus on reducing waste and emissions. We use eco-friendly powder formulations free of VOCs and heavy metals to support global sustainability goals.
